ABOUT YUCK

Sydney-based Artist, Ycu.k (Sarah Kelly) is a contemporary digital painter and animator, often working with 3D Models to craft immersive and captivating digital worlds. Their dynamism is fueled by drawing attention to the often-overlooked and melancholic facets of everyday life through stark juxtaposition of humour, character and unmistakable vibrancy of the bold and captivating colour. Ycu.k’s distinctive designs embrace the themes of futurism, surrealism, amongst others, exploring the depths of the viewer's imagination.

With a strong background in marketing and retail. Ycu.k cultivated an appreciation for how presentation and creativity can leave a lasting impact on the customer. Their experience honed their communication and interpersonal skills, proven invaluable in collaborating with fellow, business, artists, and clients. After working 5+ years, they directed more focus on  pursuing their career in the creative industry.

In addition to their own work, Ycu.k has the rewarding experience of being an art teacher. Passionately building the capacity of future artists to not only develop a strong skillset but fostering a strong sense of artistic appreciation. Ycu.k’s fervent passion for their craft is matched by their effective communication skills, exemplary ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and whole-hearted commitment for constant growth as an artist.
